1. No Collection of Personal Information
- "xsi" (心思) does not require registration or login, and contains no advertising.
- The app does not collect, store, or upload any personal information.
- The schedules, to-dos, quick notes, journal entries, photos, voice recordings, and app usage records you create are stored locally on your device by default.
- The app does not connect to any developer server, so the developer has no access to your content.
- This data is entirely under your control; you can export or delete it at any time within the app.
2. App Features, Permissions and Data Processing
- Schedules, To-dos, Quick Notes and Journal
- Text, tags, notes, goals, and mood entries are stored only on your device
- The app does not collect or upload this content to developer servers
- Microphone and Speech Recognition
- Requires microphone permission to record your voice and add it to your entries
- Speech-to-text runs on your device and is not uploaded to any server
- Recordings are stored only on your device; if you turn on iCloud sync, they sync with your entries to your own iCloud
- If the system speech recognizer is used as a fallback, the app asks for on-device recognition first
- Camera and Photos
- Requires camera permission to take photos for your entries; photos you take are not saved to the system photo library
- Photos or screenshots you choose from your library are saved only as attachments in the app's local storage
- The app does not upload your photos
- Location
- Location permission (While Using) is requested only when you choose "Current Location", to add your location to an entry
- You can also pick a place by searching; search terms are handled by Apple Maps and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy
- Location is stored only in your entries and is never sent to the developer
- Notification Permission
- Notification permission is requested the first time you set a reminder, and is used only to remind you at the time you choose
- Reminder content is stored only on your device; the app does not collect or upload notification data
- The app does not send any marketing or re-engagement notifications
- Face ID Lock (optional)
- Requires Face ID permission to confirm it is you when opening xsi
- Authentication is handled by the system; the app cannot access your facial data
- App Usage Records (optional, off by default)
- You may choose to let xsi record when you start and stop using certain apps, to help you recall your day and compare against your goals
- This works through iOS Shortcuts automations: only automations you create write events to xsi. xsi does not read other apps on your phone or their content
- App usage records are stored only on your device; they are not synced to iCloud and not uploaded
- When you add an app in Settings, the search term is sent to Apple's App Store search service (iTunes Search) to fetch the app name and icon. Only the search term is sent, never your records
- Link Previews
- When you add a web link to an entry, the app fetches that page directly from your device to show a title and thumbnail (using Apple's LinkPresentation)
- The request goes from your device straight to that website, not through any developer server
- Share Extension, Siri, Widgets and Controls
- You can share text, links, or images from other apps into xsi; the content is saved locally
- Siri, Shortcuts, home screen and lock screen widgets, and Control Center controls run on your device and share the app's on-device data container
- In-App Purchase (xsi Pro)
- xsi Pro is a one-time in-app purchase. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal
- Purchase, payment, and refunds are handled by Apple (App Store); the developer does not receive your name, payment method, or any other payment information
- The app uses the system's StoreKit to check whether you have purchased and offers "Restore Purchases"; purchase status is based on Apple's records and is not uploaded to any developer server
- Personalization Settings
- Includes theme, fonts, transcription language, and other settings, stored locally
- The app does not collect or upload personalization data to developer servers
3. Data Security and iCloud Sync
- All entries and settings are stored locally on the user's device by default.
